Okay. So, the muse bit me for in_the_blue's writing challange, and then, I reposted The Waltz of Broken Dreams here. And then the muse wouldn't let go. At all. It still hasn't let go. And even though I wanted to be writing Wings over Kal'hi, this just kept pouring out of the keyboard. I can't stop. I love writing Beth and AJ.

I orginally wrote this as part of a HP-centric Role Play community, as backstory for two of the characters. But the characters were so rich, and so vibrant, I decided to take them out of the HP universe and make them truly original characters. So I took the original piece, and modified it. This is the end results. Some of you may or may not have seen this in it's original form, but here it is again anyway.

Hey all! I've been meaning to do this for a while now,  but things just have been really busy at my place. I've wanted to share with you the totally awesome artwork kit_the_brave has done for Wings over Kal'hi! She just up and decided to draw pictures, and I'm so incredibly flattered, I want to share it with you, so you can tell her how awesome her art is!

Some of it's kind of large, so I'm going to post them in a cut, with my own comments.

Authors Note: This is a request fic for my wife, for orignally requested a post-war romance between Pellaeon and Mon Mothma. After informing her of the variety of reasons I couldn't do that  (not the least of which is Mon Mothma is dying at that point), she said she's settle for anything Pellaeon post-war. (Neither of us consider the NJO books to be "real". The series ends for us at the Bastion Accords) Anyway...a bit of a challange writing in present tense.

Summary: This little nugget of insanity was mined at approximately 5 am, the Sunday morning after HBP came out, while I was mowing greens at a golf course. I’m not sure I remember how it came about, but I thought it was pretty funny. Too little sleep, I’m afraid, contributed to some of the jokes.
Warnings: Extreme hiliarity and sillyness.

The characters are not mine, they are JKRs. The recognizable dialogue is not mine, it belongs to Warner Brothers and the Epstein brothers, except for one line, which belongs to the musical Chicago.
